The four record types
Site sign-in
Who is on site, when they arrived and under whose induction. The gate checks their induction, competency and licence validity as they sign in.
Pre-start
The shift's own check — conditions, plant, people, hazards — captured before work starts and timestamped against the site.
SWMS acknowledgement
The worker reads the safe work method statement for the task and signs it on their phone. The acknowledgement lands in the register, not a lever-arch folder.
Toolbox talk
Run the talk, capture the attendees and the topic, and the attendance list writes itself against every worker's record.
What each record leaves behind
Every one of them produces a timestamped record against the site and the worker, and every one syncs into the registers automatically — nothing is transcribed twice.
